Contributor author program
Help keep reimbursement resources current.
Doula benefit rules, documentation expectations, reimbursement workflows, training requirements, and provider policies can change frequently and irregularly. Covered Doula Care should improve when people with better, newer, source-backed information contribute.
Current status: contributor intake is now open for source-backed resource updates. Use the contributor intake form. Do not submit PHI, private claim details, member IDs, patient names, or confidential employer documents.
Who should contribute?
Potential contributor authors include doulas, agency operators, billing specialists, training organizations, Medicaid or Tricare navigators, benefit-platform users, and people who can point to current source documents.
What kinds of updates help?
- New or changed benefit-platform requirements.
- Current documentation examples, such as attestation, invoice, or insurance requirements.
- State Medicaid doula reimbursement changes.
- Tricare or private-insurance billing updates.
- Corrections to outdated training, certification, or eligibility language.
- Clear examples of what families or doulas should verify before payment.
Contribution standard
Updates should be source-backed wherever possible. Reddit posts, private anecdotes, and social posts can help identify questions, but they should not be treated as authority for requirements or coverage.
Before forms open
Do not submit personal health information, private claim details, member IDs, or private employer benefit documents through the contributor intake form. The contributor process should collect resource updates, not personal case files.
